Most of us know the common frustration of buying a piece of furniture from a department store. It usually comes in several boxes and needs several hours of assembly. After it's done, it never looks quite as good as the perfect version that was assemblied and photographed for the box cover the unit came in. Another common occurrence with buying assemble-yourself furniture is the "missing screw" problem. Just about when you've almost completed assembly, a single screw is absent. You check and check the packaging, with no luck, and then have to contact the manufacturer or take a trip to your local hardware store to find a replacement screw.
